ALL HIRES MUST BE SECURED BY A CREDIT CARD (MASTER, VISA OR AMEX ONLY). WE DO NOT ACCEPT ELECTRON VISA DEBIT OR SOLO FOR THIS PURPOSE. IF YOU ARE USING SOMEONE ELSE'S CARD THEY MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN THE FORM.

The rental can be paid by any other credit or debit card or by cash.

o A Credit Card (Master or Visa only) imprint is held in lieu of any parking tickets, congestion charges or other fines - which we hope you do not get!

o Fully comprehensive insurance is included in the price. This covers ONLY THE PERSON NAMED ON THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.
A charge of £5.00 per day is made for each additional driver.
N.B. NO OTHER PERSON MAY DRIVE THE CAR.
N.B. IT IS ILLEGAL TO DRIVE WITHOUT INSURANCE.

o Hires are on a 24 hour basis. All vehicles returned after this time will be charged accordingly. If you do not return on time without notifying the office, you will be charged at the current tariff rate of your initial booking.

o Drivers must be over 21 and under 70 and must have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years.

N. B. CERTAIN ENDORSEMENTS MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please check when making your booking.

o A surcharge is made for the following:
£5.00 per day – under 25 years
£5.00 per day – Non-UK licences
£5 per endorsement per hire

o Insurance
A claim form MUST BE COMPLETED immediately after an accident.
Failure to do so may invalidate your insurance.
If no 3rd party details are obtained you will be charged a full daily tariff rate whilst the vehicle is off the road undergoing repairs, EVEN IF YOU HAVE TAKEN CDW.
This is available at the time of booking. Please ask your rental agent.

o LIABILITY
UNDER 25 - £1500 OVER 25 - £500
These can be reduced by taking CDW
£500 to £50 £1500 to £500
o CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) is available. Please ask when making your booking. (Over 25 and UK driving licences ONLY).

o MILEAGE
• CARS FREE mileage up to 2000 miles per 28 days at 10p per mile thereafter.
• VANS 200 miles free 20p per mile thereafter.

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE: - GLASS, TYRES, WHEELS, AERIAL, DOOR MIRRORS, SPARE TOOLS, INTERIOR OF VEHICLE, CD PLAYERS. CIGARETTE BURNS WILL BE CHARGED AT THE MAIN DEALERS PRICE + VAT. THE COST OF REPAIRS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE CREDIT CARD OFFERED AT THE TIME OF THE HIRE.

THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL LIABILITY FOR OVERHEAD DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE AS A RESULT OF NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THE HIRER.

N.B. ALL TRAFFIC FINES, INCLUDING THE CONGESTION CHARGE NOT SETTLED DIRECTLY WITH THE ISSUING AUTHORITY, WILL INCUR AN ADMINISTRATION CHARGE.

o PETS. Please ensure that when pets are carried in the vehicle, a suitable covering is placed over the seats. A charge will be made for excessive soiling of the inside of the vehicle.

o VEHICLES MAY ONLY LEAVE THE COUNTRY WITH THE PERMISSION OF MAJOR CAR RENTAL. Special insurance must be purchased BEFORE leaving the country. Please ask at reception for further details.

MAJOR CAR RENTAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO VARY ANY OF THE ABOVE WITHOUT NOTICE.
